On Thursday India reached its maximum of more than 50,000 cases in one single day of COVID19 positive cases. This is the highest jump in cases until now. The 775 people have also died in the last 24 hours. The one-day spike is the highest and making the citizens more concerned about the spread.
To this date, India has more than 15 Lakh cases of coronavirus, and 34,968 lost their lives to it and more than 10 Lakh patients of this virus got recovered also.

Lockdown Extensions in which states?
According to the new guidelines the Unlock 3.0 guidelines: The government on Wednesday, allowing gymnasiums and yoga institutes to function from August 5 and revoking night curfew even as all other activities banned earlier continue to remain prohibited.
The metro rail, cinema halls, swimming pools, entertainment parks, theatres, bars, auditoriums, assembly halls, and similar places shall prohibit the operation. The guidelines issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs have said that Schools and colleges too shall remain shut till August 31.
Also the social/ political/ sports/ entertainment/ academic/ cultural/ religious functions and other large congregations shall also not be allowed to operate.
The Maharashtra government on Wednesday night extended the lockdown till 31 August. Under this lockdown guideline, the malls and shopping complexes without theatre, food courts, and cinema halls can remain open from 5th August between 9 am to 7 pm. Also in contrast to the central government, the gymnasiums in Maharashtra will not be operational.
Tamil Nadu –
This state extends lockdown till 31st August but with more relaxations, now all private companies and other business organizations can now be operational with 75% attendance of the workforce, up from 50 % earlier.
The Hotels and tea shops will be allowed to accommodate up to 50 % of their seating capacity between 6 am to 7 pm.
